London Futsal Stars is a futsal club based in North London. We run a variety of different futsal and football classes and events for all of which can be accessed here (All classes).
Our classes cater for all abilities from beginner to academy level for children from the age of 4 up to the age of 15. All classes are led by FA level 2 futsal qualified coaches. We have a multitude of different classes that cater for all abilities and ages from U5-U15.
Our Programs
BAMBINOS
For 2-5 year olds, learning the basics of motor skills and movement with & without the ball. Based in Highgate.
3-A-SIDE
Street futsal, which is skill focused and includes our panna 3-a-side league.
DEVELOPMENT
For players newer to futsal/football and want to play non-competitively
ACADEMY
Competitive futsal/football for players aged 9-15 years. We compete in competitions nationally & regionally.
What is Futsal?
Futsal is an exciting fast paced 5 aside football game derived from South America.
It is used by the majority of the top academies in world football such as Liverpool, Barcelona, Ajax and Manchester city to enhance player development.
The FA first introduced competitive Futsal leagues in 2003 and now estimate there are over 10,000 players participating, making it one of the fast-growing sports in England. This makes it the perfect time for your child to be part of something great and exciting.
Benefits of Futsal
Skill Enhancing
Futsal is played with a smaller, heavier, denser ball which doesn’t bounce as much as a conventional football. This allows children to manipulate and trap the ball more easily when learning new skills and techniques.
Engagement
Increased number of touches compared to conventional 7 aside football is another benefit of futsal.
Fast pace game
The smaller pitches and time constraints in the rules of futsal improve speed of decision making as players must adapt to reduced time on the ball.
