LONDON FUTSAL STARS X ALPHA FC EASTER FRIENDLY MATCH

The sun shone down on us this morning as LFS and Alpha LS took to Whittington Park this to compete in a friendly match. We had a 9-a-side team for U11/12’s and a 9-a-side team for U13/14’s.

We are proud to announce the LFS U13/14 team won in a 3-0 defeat. However, all the players on both teams played a very good match, with excellent skills demonstrated. It is always great to see player development as an individual and also as part of a team when playing competitively. It makes us all so proud to call these players part of the LFS club!

We are always looking to take part in competitive matches with teams in the local area. If your team would like to get involved, contact us today on info@londonfutsalstars.com, we would love to hear from you.

And we sign off today’s blog post with a huge HAPPY EASTER! We hope you had a chance to spend your Easter with family and friends in the sunshine.

Our Feature in Highgate and Hampstead Mums Directory

Read our recent feature in the Highgate and Hampstead Mums Directory. We are always trying to spread the word about our efforts in the community and have found the internet to be a great way to do it.

The internet has become a great way to spread your message to large numbers of people and also connect communities.

We are passionate about our North London community and using fustal and football coaching to support mental and physical well being of young people.

Through a combination of running, walking, sprinting and kicking when playing football and futsal, can bring physical benefits including increased stamina, improved cardiovascular health, reduced body fat, improved muscle strength and tone, increased bone strength and improved coordination. Through the release of endorphins when playing, football and futsal have also been shown to reduce anxiety, stress and the risk of depression.

Help us spread the word about the work we are doing in Highgate, Hampstead, Islington, Drayton Park, Camden and Stoke Newington. We would also love to hear from you about ideas on how to spread the word!

Futsal stars are in a different league

The London Futsal Stars players enjoyed a kick-about with a difference before the latest lockdown restrictions came into force

THE club motto is a simple one: “Better futsal players make better football players.” For coach Shaz Anwar, the goal now is getting that message out there to scores of kids across Camden and Islington. However, with a pandemic raging and grassroots sport continuing its forced hiatus, that will be no small feat.
